Richard was born and raised in the West Texas town of Big Spring, Texas. Richard is a 2001 Graduate of Big Spring High School, 2003 Graduate of New Mexico Military Institute, a 2008 graduate of Angelo State University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Richard is an Eagle Scout with three palms and a vigil member of the Order of the Arrow. He continues to show his support by being the Scoutmaster of Troop 100 in Archer City, Texas and is the Climbing/Rappelling Director for the Northwest Texas Council. Before becoming a Texas Game Warden, Richard received his real estate license in 2008 and was an agent in Big Spring with their family office, United Country Heart of the City. Richards main focus is Farm and Ranch, Residential and Commercial properties. During his time, he was awarded the United Country Pinnacle Award ($1,000,000 yearly gross sales), Rookie of the Year by the Permian Basin Board of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors Political Action Committee Strike Force Award. Richard has been a Game Warden for five years and is stationed in Archer County, Texas. He currently holds an Intermediate Peace Officer License, among various other certifications within the law enforcement field. Richard is also one of the 20 members of the statewide Texas Game Warden Search and Rescue Team. Richard is newly married to Cheyenne, who is also getting her real estate license in Wichita Falls, TX and also a 2008 graduate of Angelo State University with a B.B.A. in Marketing. They plan on staying in the Wichita Falls Area for many years to come selling real estate.
